SUMMARY Crowley is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior HR Business Partner to join our team. As a Senior HRBP, you will play a crucial role in driving strategic HR initiatives and fostering a positive workplace culture. Working closely with our Centers of Excellence (COE), this role will provide consultation and expertise in all areas of Human Resources while also providing leadership, strategic counsel, advisory and consultative services. The successful candidate will fully develop an understanding of assigned business areas and represent the interests of those areas within and outside of People & Culture. The role will report to the Vice President of HR Business Partnering. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Provide leadership, consultation and support to employees and leaders at all levels within the organization to maximize organizational capability, create an excellent employee experience and cultivate our culture. * Build credibility and trust with the workforce and leaders while navigating complex business relationships. Leverage those relationships to diagnose and coach leaders on team, organization, and their own effectiveness. * Use understanding of business, company, and department goals to identify needs, opportunities, solutions, and risks relating to human resources programs and services, workforce productivity, retention, employee engagement, organizational design, performance, talent management, and diversity, equity, and inclusion. * Proactively assess team, manager and organizational needs to make recommendations and lead/support the implementation of appropriate solutions with a high degree of focus on scale and growth. * Collaborate closely with COEs to align business priorities with talent management strategies, ensuring seamless integration of organizational goals and HR initiatives. * Lead succession management and talent review discussions and partner with COEs as appropriate based on outcomes. * Analyze and interpret workforce data to identify emerging needs, potential risks, and overarching trends. Effectively communicate insights to business leaders and COEs, offering strategic recommendations grounded in a nuanced understanding of the business landscape. * Partner with leadership to foster a dynamic work environment that fuels employee engagement and retention, aligning organizational culture with strategic objectives. * Contribute actively to a spectrum of HR projects, playing a pivotal role in researching, conceptualizing, and implementing innovative HR initiatives. EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources management, finance or a related field; or equivalent combination of post high school education and equivalent work experience. EXPERIENCE: * * 8 years of progressive experience in HR, with at least 3 years in an HR Business Partner role. * PHR or SPHR certification as designated by the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI) or a SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification as designated by the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) preferred. *TECHNICAL PROFICIENCY: Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Outlook and Word. Proficient with HR information and talent acquisition/management systems and tools. OTHER: * * Location: Jacksonville, FL. * Hybrid office working environment. * Ability to flex to core business hours, to support International work locations. * Ability to travel as necessary. *COMPETENCIES: Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Ability to multi-task and pivot quickly with changing requirements. Ability to strategically plan and serve as a catalyst for organizational change, cultivate a shared vision with others, and motivate others to transfer vision into action. Ability to interpret and apply related federal, state and local laws, ordinances, rules and regulations related to the administration of human resources/labor relations. Ability to manage conflict and demonstrate the courage to challenge organizational thinking and the status quo. JOB SCOPE: Position impacts multiple business units/segments. WORKING CONDITIONS: Normal office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, temperature and the like.
