Description

Ring is looking for a Sr. Designer to design, art direct, and execute imagery assets for brand marketing. This role will own image production processes and requests for multiple cross-functional teams (marketing, app, blog/editorial, ecom, digital channel, PR). They will also contribute to the creative vision and collaborate with a team that defines and designs digital and brand experiences.

Key job responsibilities

• Fluency in understanding and interpreting strategy to developing initial concepts

• Exceptional design skills, including layout, typography, color theory, design systems, and post production.

• Create user-centered designs by considering analysis, customer feedback, site metrics, and usability findings

• Design information architecture, interface, and interaction flow of applications and experiences

• Experience defining and evolving brand guidelines

• Experience in multi-channel advertising and brand advertising for campaigns

• Experience maintaining high quality creative, strong attention to detail, operating in a fast-paced, iterative environment

• Candidate must have experience working in a deadline driven environment and must be able to manage workload to meet deadlines

• Candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study (ie Communication Design, Visual Design, User Experience, etc.) or relevant work experience

• Candidate has worked in an advertising or marketing focused multi-channel design role through an in-house creative team, a creative agency, etc

A day in the life

The Sr. Designer will work globally and cross-functionally across internal teams and external stakeholders to execute assets that will support how the organization goes-to-market. You will push creative to their highest standards and develop design systems that improve productivity. Your role will be integral in all phases of execution: pre-production, production, and post-production. This is a hands-on role responsible for both the systems and executional work.

About the team

The Image Production team is made of passionate creative producers, art directors, and designers. We are brand ambassadors that define and protect Ring's imagery content through products, programs, and campaigns.

Basic Qualifications

• Have an available online portfolio

• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and Capture One Pro.

• Experience and knowledge of design processes and production pipelines.

• Ability to build presentation decks and present to leadership and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in in graphic design, industrial design, digital communications design, visual arts, mass communications, art, or equivalent

• Experience working with a digital asset management platform.

• Familiarity with 3D rendering software and platforms.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $94,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $184,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
