If this sounds like what you are looking for, we are currently seeking a Principal Financial Analyst for our Neurovascular (NV) group. This position can be onsite in Irvine, California, or remote from within the United States.

A Day in the Life

As a Principal Financial Analyst, you will provide financial and strategic support to the Neurovascular Financial Planning & Analysis Director, NV CFO, and VP of Ops and IBP to maximize revenue and drive operational efficiency.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Provide financial guidance/support of gross margin improvement, including short-term and long-term DC and field inventory management, Freight/Duties and SOGL forecasting and variance analysis

  • Business partner with the VP of Operations on cost center budgeting, forecasting, AOP, and Strat Plan financials

  • Pricing analytics in partnership with the Neuroscience Pricing and Contracting team, Sales, Marketing, Enterprise Accounts and Sales Finance

  • Support NV FP&A forecast processes for AOP, Strat Plan and month-end, to drive forecast accuracy

  • Prepare monthly reviews of regional results and provide analysis

  • Lead NV Finance IBP deliverables including unit, ASP and revenue submission by region and COT

  • Partner with sales/marketing to prepare monthly/rolling forecasts as part of the IBP process

  • Engage in continuous process improvement to standardize processes and drive efficiencies

  • Engage in special projects as assigned

  • Comply with policies or governmental regulations

Must Have - Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree Required

  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant Finance and/or Accounting experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant Finance and/or Accounting experience

Nice to Have

  • MBA

  • Experience with PowerBI, BOXI, SAP, and Hyperion systems

  • Experience manipulating and interpreting data for decision making

  • Experience collaborating across a complex matrix organization

  • Experience writing and speaking in a professional setting, including giving oral presentations

  • Experience with a global manufacturing company preferred

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
