Description:

Responsible for environmental test processes for a wide range of components/modules and spacecraft level vibration and thermal vacuum testing. Supporting the backlog of qualification testing and milestones that need to be hit. They need to make the facility a 24 hour site to meet those goals. The person in this position will assist with installation of equipment; operation and maintenance of vibrations tables, vacuum chambers, and other test equipment; assisting with process documentation and controls; perform testing and certification of the test equipment.

Set up and operate test equipment which may include but not be limited to vibration tables, vacuum chambers, and other test equipment.

Performs functions that include test troubleshooting, basic equipment maintenance, coordination with test engineers, and engagement with management on daily test activities.

Must Have - 2+ years (ideally 5-10 years) with Thermal Vacuum Testing (preferred experience with vacuum chambers, thermal chambers)

Must Have - Experience with aerospace, defense, or space components or products

Bonus experience:

Clean room experience - Class1100 - Smocks, masks, and gloves

experience with Python and testing software
