About the Role : Senior Data Scientist

The Team : Our team will oversee all AI/ML initiatives in the division, including conducting demos, and providing training and support to other teams. We will lead the AI/ML space by staying updated on the latest trends and advancements, facilitating knowledge sharing through technical forums and channels, and ensuring adherence to best practices, ethical standards, and governance. Through strategic alignment and continuous learning, the team will drive business impact and innovation across the division.

Responsibilities and Impact :

  • Design, develop, and implement advanced machine learning models and AI algorithms, including LLMs(Prompt Engineering).

  • Work with large and complex textual data sets to extract meaningful insights.

  • Preprocess, clean, and analyse textual data for modelling.

  • Evaluate LLM performance using appropriate metrics and benchmarks.

  • Optimize LLMs for speed and efficiency without compromising accuracy.

  • Work with front-end engineers to integrate AI/ML models into user-facing applications.

  • Provide input on how to design interfaces that effectively utilize AI/ML models and LLMs.

  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI/ML, particularly in the domain of LLMs.

  • Conduct experiments and research to innovate and improve existing LLM-based solutions.

  • Document LLMs, code, and processes for reproducibility and future reference.

  • Report on project progress, challenges, and solutions to management.

  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and ethical AI practices, particularly in handling textual data.

  • Implement security measures to protect sensitive data.

What We’re Looking For:

Basic Required Qualifications :

  • Advanced degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.

  • 8 to 12 Years of Experience in IT Industry

  • 5+ years of Strong experience in machine learning, deep learning, AI algorithms, and NLP.

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python.

  • Expertise in machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) and NLP libraries (e.g., Hugging Face Transformers, spaCy).

  • Familiarity with data engineering tools and technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop).

  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).

  • Basic knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

  • Familiarity with front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular).

  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.

  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration/deployment.

Additional Preferred Qualifications :

  • Extensive experience with LLMs, including training, fine-tuning, and deploying models like GPT-3, BERT, or similar architectures.
