Amazon Business Analyst, Roster Product Support in Hyderabad, India

Description

Working in a dynamic environment, you will be responsible for monitoring key success metrics, identifying problem areas and business challenges, and collaboratively shaping solutions that help this tool so that all Amazon teams can use it to accurately reflect the reality of their team’s workforce and funding. The successful candidate has a passion for working with customers and addressing their business needs. The candidate needs to innovate, and quickly become a subject matter expert in guiding business, finance, and TA points of contact on monitoring and maintaining their Roster data, performing gap analyses, handling re-orgs, conducting trainings and office hours, addressing user inquiries, and most importantly implementing change management and communication plans.

The candidate has significant experience working with customers, analyzing data, identifying trends, extracting conclusions, and presenting findings in a simple and clear manner. The candidate enjoys problem solving and is proficient using database queries and other tools to analyze large data sets, synthesizing the analysis into business insights and communicating the findings to various stakeholders.

About the team

Roster team works on a Headcount Management Product which is primarily a self-service tool used by Team Leaders, Finance and Hiring Managers to build, edit and update team information and changes across Amazon. This is an innovative position-based architecture that helps our users (hiring managers, business leaders, Talent Acquisition (TA), and Finance) to look at and manage different slices of the same headcount data at the granularity they need.

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

Hyderabad, TS, IND

Basic Qualifications

  • 1+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience

  • 2+ years of Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables) experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights

  • Experience with SQL or ETL

  • Experience with reporting and Data Visualization tools such as Quick Sight / Tableau / Power BI or other BI packages

  • 1+ years of program or project management experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with Tableau

  • Experience using very large datasets

  • Knowledge of HR systems or Headcount planning/management systems
