Study Group Student Experience Administrator in Huddersfield, United Kingdom

Contract: Full time, Permanent 

Location: Huddersfield International Study Centre 

Salary: Up to £26,477.57 

Job Purpose: 

The International Study Centre needs an experienced and accomplished Student Experience Coordinator – Operation and Student Finance. The post holder will undertake a variety of tasks including coordinating student assessments and progression, managing student data and finance accounts, assisting with student attendance monitoring, and provide support to academic staff and SMT where necessary.

This is a fast-paced environment and the successful applicant will have proven customer service skills and previous experience of working with international students, possess excellent IT, communication and organisational skills. The post holder will be working in an open plan office, so it is important they enjoy working as part of a team.

About the role: 

  • To prepare assessment timetable

  • Management and coordination of student assessments to include liaising with academics, data inputting and ensuring quality control checks are in place to align with the Centres requirement

  • To organise and minute all Module and Course Assessment Boards

  • To deal with fee payment deadlines and enquiries

  • To work with the Student Experience Coordinator– Student Data and Enhancement to ensure we have the relevant data in file and recorded on Study Group databases.

  • Ensure student details are kept up to date on central databases – contact details, visa and passport information, sponsorship details etc.

  • Working closely with the Student Data and Enhancement Coordinator to ensure all administration for attendance monitoring is up to date.

  • Working closely with the Head of Student Experience in running student focus groups.

  • Ensure the progression database is kept up to date and provided to the relevant stakeholders in a timely manner

  • Ensure progression changes are checked, recorded and shared with the relevant teams.

  • Work closely with other teams to ensure student enrolment is running smoothly

  • Any other duties required by the Head of Student Experience

About you: 

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification

  • Experience of events coordination

  • Experience of working in HE/FE environment (Desirable)

  • Experience of using UKVI reporting system

  • Knowledge of working across a variety of complex IT systems

  • Ability to demonstrate an understanding and knowledge of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults (Desirable)

  • Ability to challenge processes in order to improve the end goal (Desirable)

  • Knowledge of working with timetabling software (Desirable)

  • Enthusiasm and ambition for personal and ISC development (Desirable)
