The Sr. Solutions Analyst I provides application support to end users on a variety of issues/support for PeopleSoft Modules – Contracts, Billing, Value Added Tax, and Accounts Receivable.
Duties & ResponsibilitiesESSENTIAL
Coordinates the configuration, setup/maintenance, customizations, and new implementation of PeopleSoft Financial application to Oceaneering's specifications.
Coordinates with all business units and service lines worldwide to ensure compliance with overall company PeopleSoft Financial application initiatives.
Develops and maintains approved PeopleSoft Financial application business programs.
Defines business requirements to meet PeopleSoft Financial application business imperatives.
Coordinates all approved PeopleSoft Financial applications, initiatives/priorities with management, end users, IT, and other support organizations.
Coordinates the testing of all PeopleSoft Financial application solutions, processes and functionality.
Interfaces with businesses to resolve PeopleSoft Financial application related issues including data quality and system performance.
Develops “best practices” and standards, develops systems’ interfaces with other enterprise system owners to ensure that business processes are streamlined and business goals are achieved.
Assists and documents configuration and testing of financial modules to Oceaneering 's specifications.
Ensures effective organizational change management for PeopleSoft Financial application including training, communications, and organizational alignment.
Maintains a website on the Oceanet dedicated to the PeopleSoft Financial system which provides information to financial end users and Core Team on matters related to PS System financial policies and procedures, end user problem resolution, frequently asked questions (FAQs), etc.
Measures and reports on the impact of the PeopleSoft Financial application on business process efficiency, effectiveness, and user satisfaction.
Participates in upgrade teams.
Possible travel both internationally and domestically.
Works closely with both internal and external customers, as required.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum five years' experience on PeopleSoft version 8.8 or higher and the PeopleSoft Financial application.
Minimum five years' experience with two of the following PeopleSoft Financial modules: Billing, Contracts, Value Added Tax, or Accounts Receivable.
Minimum two years' experience in business process development, analysis and continuous improvement within the PeopleSoft domain.
Minimum two years' experience in software lifecycle including data conversion and system testing.
Minimum five years' experience with MS Office.
Strong and highly detailed knowledge of PeopleSoft Financials 9.X.
A general knowledge of additional PeopleSoft Financials modules: Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Expenses, Asset Management, Cash Management, General Ledger, Project Costing.
Experience with PeopleSoft Financials multi-currency environments.
Solid team leadership and management skills.
Prior experience working with multiple cultures and nationalities.
Prior experience with SQL.
