Duties:
Apply functional specifications and use engineering tools to design hardware for product changes and new development. Independently process data, write engineering reports, and conduct diagnosis of routine hardware malfunctions. Contribute in reliability analysis such as risk assessments and Failure Mode Effects Analysis by compiling and examining data. Identify the testing requirement at a system level with the emphasis on complying with test standards and Halliburton's Health, Safety, and Environment procedures. Contribute to Halliburton's Intellectual Property portfolio by preparing Invention Disclosures and recognizing ideas that have Intellectual Property potential without disclosing confidential information. Coordinate with project leads to produce project deliverables by assessing input requirements and applying functional specifications. Develop relationships through excellent communication skills and acts as a key resource to provide innovative solutions.
Requirements:
Employer will accept a Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or related field. In lieu of the above, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a Mechanical Engineering related occupation.

Experience with SolidWorks Modeling & Drawing Creation
Experience with FEA Analysis (Structural Integrity)
Experience with Mechanical Component Design
Experience with Structural Component Design
Experience with FMEA generation & Risk Assessments
Experience with Product Development Tools
Experience with Technical Writing
