The primary responsibility of this position is to coordinate the execution of projects.
Duties & ResponsibilitiesESSENTIAL
Assists the program manager and project managers as required.
Coordinates project schedules.
Compiles project costs, does financial analysis, and provides schedule status reports.
Coordinates project activities and ensures all project phases are documented properly.
Enters and monitors projects in PeopleSoft ERP system and Enovia PLM systems.
Visits shop floor to determine status of project deliverables.
Coordinates testing of equipment with customers.
Sets up and manages project team meetings as needed.
Helps coordinate the activities of project engineers and supply chain management.
Interacts with customers as required.
Visits shipyards or offshore drilling rigs occasionally.
Assists in change order management.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum of 3 years related industry experience or combination of education and experience.
Familiar with scheduling principles (Baseline, Critical Path, etc.).
Bachelor’s degree (engineering, science, math).
CAPM or PMP certification.
Knowledge of ERP and/or MRP systems.
Technical knowledge and understanding of hydraulic, electronic, electrical, pneumatic and mechanical systems.
