The primary role of this position is to verify, coordinate, and keep records on incoming inventory issues, transfers, adjustments, and cycle counts.
Duties & ResponsibilitiesESSENTIAL
Counts, weighs, and measures incoming shipments.
Completes receipt and issue aspects of transfers from business unit to business unit.
Inputs and reconciles cycle count.
Receives in subcontract purchase orders.
Puts away inventory controlled items.
Maintains customer furnished parts in PeopleSoft.
Pulls, puts away and sets-up locations within Fast Pik System.
Issues materials, closes PIDS and performs cycle counts for Hi-Jump Bar Code System.
Pulls orders from job stage locations.
Operates forklift to load and unload trucks.
Operates tier lift truck or uses hand truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage or work area.
Takes orders from the receiving area.
Arranges material and equipment.
Clears goods for entry into system.
Serializes components within PID for assembly and data book integrity within PeopleSoft using Serial Genealogy Process.
Maintains a safe and clean working environment, observes and follows safety policies, wears appropriate and prescribed personal protective equipment.
Communicates with buyer to resolve problems.
Occasionally drives company vehicle to pick up or deliver products.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum of two (2) years of related experience.
Basic knowledge of PeopleSoft or similar business management software system.
Knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel
Knowledge of PeopleSoft or similar ERP software

Ability to work in a team environment, remaining attentive to ideas, recognizing responsibilities, and actively participating with others to accomplish assignments and achieve desired goals.
Skill to effectively organize information to meet operational needs and desired outcomes.
This position is considered SHOP/INDOOR WORK which is characterized as follows.
Primarily indoors during the day and occasionally at night.
Frequently working on or near moving equipment and vibrating equipment.
When outdoors, humidity is frequently above 90%.
Noise is over 85 decibels.
Light is intense/glare.
Occasional exposure to open fire/flames/sparks.
Frequent exposure to airborne dust, fumes, and gases.

Lifts 20-50 pounds.
Works in confined spaces, kneels, jumps, runs, works while lying on stomach/back, crawls, and uses repetitive movements of the arms and hands.

Wears PPE for skin protection.
Lifts 10-25 pounds.
Climbs stairs/ladders, stands, balances, stoops, squats, reaches, and lifts/carries objects.
Twists body, sits with back supported, head forward/flexed, head tilted/rotated, and works with arms extended overhead.
Operates a motor vehicle.
Lifts up to 10 pounds.
Wears PPE protection for body, vision, and hearing protection.
Steel/safety toed shoes/boots.
