Position Summary

This position may be located in many global locations (U.S., UK, Europe, India). The data analyst will provide high quality analysis and development of data and information solutions for MIP. Work closely with data scientist and develop high quality dashboards using various tools.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Analyse commercial maritime data to produce outputs that provide insights to areas of cost savings opportunity.

  • Analyse and interpret data across the commercial voyage.

  • Analyse and interpret maritime data from various sources to identify trends and opportunities.

  • Using Tableau and other tools develop high quality visual outputs/dashboards.

  • Implement processes and controls to ensure data quality and timeliness.

  • Provide good clean data to feed algorithms and data models being developed by the data science team.

  • Document all outputs to ensure understanding of functionalities, models and process flows.

  • Implement and document quality controls to ensure integrity of reporting and outputs.

  • Work closely with the data management and development team to ensure data quality and feedback loops.

  • Provide project planning and reporting.

  • Work with customers on performance projects to analyse and interpret data.



  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, economics, Statistics, Computer Science or analytics, or equivalent education and experience.

  • Three to six years related experience.


  • Maritime knowledge.
