Seeking Equipment Maintenance Technicians!

Description:

Currently we have multiple openings for experienced Equipment Maintenance Technicians in Hillsboro. This is a high-tech environment that is working in a cleanroom environment to support semiconductor manufacturing by performing preventative and corrective maintenance on machinery. This is not an entry level role. Candidates that cannot troubleshoot complex electro-mechanical issues will not be qualified.

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on fab equipment.

• Improve system performance to achieve process requirements and eliminate repetitive tool break downs

• Monitor and analyze all related tool data, make recommendation and improvements to maintenance procedures

• Work with engineers to design and execute equipment improvements projects

• Communicate machine status verbally in daily pass-down meetings

• Provide clear written communication to engineers and technicians on other shifts

Qualifications Needed:

• Associate’s degree in technical related field and/or Military Electronics training OR prior Technician experience in a wafer fab

• Strong mechanical and electronic knowledge/skills

• Proficiency in use of computers, including MS Office

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Solid teamwork and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across functions

• Strong time management skills to enable on-time task completion

• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

• Ability to perform physical requirements: stand/walk up to 12 hours per shift, lift up to 35 pounds, and wear a respirator and other personal protective equipment
