Davis Tool is looking for a Production Planner who wants to be challenged and perform hands on work in a dynamic manufacturing environment. As a Production Planner you will interface with other departments and work directly with our customers to review contracts, accept new orders, monitor production schedules and assess manufacturing capacities.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage major customer accounts.

• Review customer contracts at time of order

• Create and review new product schedules with sales, engineering and manufacturing.

• Coordinate with purchasing to insure product schedules.

• Support the master scheduler with capacity analysis, production schedules and rate readiness information for customers.

  Qualifications

• BS or BA Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field

• 2 years previous experience in a supply chain or manufacturing related role

• APICS certification preferred

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Experience reviewing customer contracts

• Proficient with MRP systems, spread sheet and presentation software
