Citigroup Developer for Knime and Tableu (Product Control Intermediate Analyst) C11 hybrid in Heredia, Costa Rica

The Prod Ctrl Intmd. Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for ensuring the completeness, accuracy and integrity of the bank's books and records in coordination with the Finance team. The overall objective of this role is to control and support data integrity and general ledger reconciliation, profit attribution and new activity analysis, valuation control and product P&L and balance sheet reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Solve issues under little to no supervision, including complex problems

  • Apply in-depth knowledge of industry standards and practices to daily tasks

  • Analyze situations and data utilizing data analysis tools and methodologies

  • Provide solutions for varied issues that potentially impact the broader business

  • Communicate information clearly and succinctly

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of relevant experience

  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience

The Process Control Intermediate Analyst - Developer will support the LATAM team process improvement initiatives through the develop of solutions into Knime and Tableu. The objective of this role is to become developer for all the business unit taking ownership of all the initiatives, developments, implementations, and improvements. The main tool to be used will be Knime.

This is an opportunity to provide leadership on driving change improvement within a key business for Citi, to be able to demonstrate delivering results, working as a key strategic business partner to the business and helping to build a great and more efficient Global Product Control Team.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop of solutions for the team to generate efficiencies into the team with tools such Knime and Tableu

  • Analyst for process improvement initiatives and implementations across region

  • Solve issues under little to no supervision, including complex problems

  • Promote and maintain procedures, process documentation and policies.

  • Interacting with members across multiple locations on a daily basis, including those in New York, London and Budapest.

  • Daily interaction with managers throughout the organization, including, but not limited to Directors and/or Managing Directors of Finance (i.e., Treasury, Tax, Accounting Policy, Planning & Analysis, etc.), trading desks, transactors, middle office, risk management, business unit management teams and operations will be necessary to resolve issues and drive change

  • Provide and review analytics / control metrics for the management team

  • Ad-hoc projects / assignments including system development, redesigning, and streamlining daily and monthly processes, not just for team, but also consideration for the larger regional and global department

  • Foster a spirit of teamwork and unity among department members and across the company.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required on Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering or related field

  • Knowledge on programming languages such Knime and Python is mandatory

  • 2 or more years of experience in solutions developments on tools such Knime, Python and Robotics (RPA) and any others

  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet assigned deadlines required.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written required in both English and Spanish.

  • Excellent MS Office applications skill

  • Able to influence others without authority and interact across all levels of the organization required
