Manages Equipment Engineering team consisting of equipment engineers, repair and maintenance technicians and supervisors who are responsible for managing equipment assets in the wafer fab: installation, set-up, modification, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, continuous improvement, and documentation.

This leader is responsible for the planning, development, and implementation of maintenance methods; ensures the effective use of materials, equipment, and personnel; and works with process engineering, manufacturing, facilities and other groups to solve problems and make continuous improvements.

He/she will use equipment and team data to monitor performance and drive improvements in key metrics including availability, cost of ownership, capacity, yields, MTTR, MTBR and effectiveness.

He/she will be expected to manage and tracks capital, work with vendors and develop their team to ensure the efficient operation and support of the factory.

Job Qualifications

  • 10+ Years of experience managing semiconductor equipment and related support personnel, technicians and engineers.

  • Demonstrated success in organizing and managing people and projects across the various groups with successful results. Strong collaboration experience with multiple groups and factories.

  • Experienced with systems and metrics required to maintain and improve equipment operation.

EDUCATION requirement

  • B.S. level degree, or equivalent
