Basic Job Functions:

We are seeking a creative, forward-thinking, process-minded, effective communicator to join our team. The Mechanical Engineer will be tasked with supporting the Vulcraft Texas division by providing technical support for maintenance and operations, designing and implementing innovative solutions to enhance production operations, designing and troubleshooting mechanical components and systems, performing mechanical load ratings of various systems, designing and troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic systems, writing mechanical specifications for projects, creating and maintaining mechanical documentation, managing capital projects, and seeking out and implementing process improvement projects. This position requires occasional travel.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in an engineering field

• Experience in modeling, assembly, and detailing with SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar 3D CAD software

• Two years mechanical engineering experience in a manufacturing environment that included mechanical engineering principles, materials, and mechanics

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience identifying deficiencies in mechanical processes and developing improvements

• Experience successfully leading full lifecycle product development (design, develop, test prototypes, manufacture and implement)

• Experience with machine design using electro-mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components

• Advanced computer skills

• Fundamentals of Engineering Certification
