Description We are seeking a meticulous Senior Billing Specialist to join our team in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. In this role, you will be tasked with managing and executing billing processes for construction contracts and change orders, overseeing the entire billing cycle, and communicating effectively with both our finance and construction operations teams. This role offers an exciting opportunity in the construction services industry.

Responsibilities:

• Review and prepare invoices in accordance with client contracts.

• Gain proficiency in Percentage of Completion (POC) accounting.

• Handle billing for change orders in collaboration with Project Managers.

• Assist in monthly revenue forecasting.

• Monitor outstanding invoices and ensure timely client payments.

• Respond to client inquiries regarding billing and payments.

• Resolve billing discrepancies or disputes through effective communication.

• Maintain accurate billing records and reports.

• Assist with other accounting and finance tasks as required.

• Provide exceptional customer service to clients and stakeholders. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services

• Familiarity with IBM AS/400

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suites

• Understanding of Accounting Functions and Billing Functions

• Experience in Claim Administration and Collection Processes

• Excellent Customer Service skills

• Knowledge of Billing and AIA Billing

• Experience in the Construction industry and managing Construction Projects

• Familiarity with Liens and Change Forms

• Experience with High-Volume Invoicing

• Understanding of the percentage (%) of completion method
