Description:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, and project managers, to design and implement control systems for our machines. Develop detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control panel layouts. Program and configure PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) from scratch or modify existing programs to meet specific project requirements. Proficiency in Siemens and Allen-Bradley PLC programming is essential. Design and implement HMI (Human-Machine Interface) screens for operators to interact with the machinery. Troubleshoot and debug control system issues during machine commissioning and production. Optimize control algorithms to improve machine performance, safety, and efficiency. Collaborate with external vendors for sourcing control components and hardware. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, advancements, and best practices related to controls engineering.
