As Human Resources Business Partner, Care Chemicals, you will leverage your skills and education to orchestrate corporate and unit-level human capital strategy through your partnership with senior leaders and the leadership team in the areas of Talent, Leadership, Organizational Design & Development, and Culture in the Business, RD&T, and Functions for the North America (NA) Care Chemicals Business.

You will report to the Head of Human Resources Care Chemicals, NA., and be an integral member of the leadership teams, developing and integrating short and long term strategic human resources initiatives which support the business needsand ensure a strong leadership, empowerment, and inclusive culture.

As an HR Business Partner, You Create Chemistry By...

  • Partnering with the business on various topics, projects, and strategic initiatives (e.g., organizational design, performance management, compensation, change management) while translating business strategy into human capital initiatives and organizational design.

  • Coaching leaders, ensuring an equitable, fair and consistent employee experience across the business unit, at all levels.

  • Acting as a liaison between the Business Unit and the HR service platform to ensure HR services align with the business’s needs and HR initiatives and programs align with business direction and goals.

  • Influencing decisions in partnership and collaboration with leaders on various people topics while reading situations, diagnosing for improvement, identifying interventions, and supporting the final decision-making.

  • Reviewing and benchmarking the internal and external landscape to improve HR processes, initiatives, and the overall employee experience; monitoring the organization's ‘pulse’ to anticipate employee needs and/or concerns and serving as an employee advocate when necessary.

  • Leveraging your expertise in compensation programs and other HR related processes and programs, ensuring timely completion of annual HR processes (performance calibrations, evaluation, merit planning, talent and succession planning, resource planning, etc.); communicating and championing new or enhanced HR processes, on both a regional and global scale.

  • Leading Talent Management for Care Chemicals North America, ensuring global alignment within the broader Care Chemicals division while leading Talent Management and Talent Planning discussions and monitoring the overall status of Talent within the business unit, developing concepts for talent identification and development plans for key talents in support of current and future business needs.

  • Bachelor’s degree and preferably 10+ years of related experience.

  • Advanced analytical skills and the ability to manage projects and achieve objectives using your judgment and planning.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence for impact and to have difficult and challenging conversations, with tact and diplomacy.

  • Experience with change management approaches and practices.

  • Ability to work and collaborate across all key stakeholders and regions and to navigate complex and ambiguous situations.

  • Ability to act with integrity and the highest ethical standards, even when faced with adversity and challenges.
