JOB SUMMARY The Human Resources Administrative Assistant will be responsible for having a positive inviting demeanor that is welcoming as you will be the face/voice of Duro Electric to visiting guest, callers, and employees of Duro Electric. This role will have specific HR and related duties related to employee onboarding, performance management, employee maintenance, and other duties to assist the HR department. This position will be based at the front desk of Duro Electric's main office in Englewood, CO. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience. KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES General knowledge and skills in the use of various Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Requires a positive attitude and the successful candidate must have strong written and verbal communication skills to interface with internal and external customers. Good punctuation, spelling, and grammar skills. Basic typing, computer skills, and office organization skills are required. Once trained, this employee must have the ability and self-initiation to complete regular daily job tasks with little to no instruction. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Be the face of Duro Electric by staying in close proximity to the front desk except for when completing other required tasks. Assist in Human Resource processes for new hires, preparing onboarding packets, employee education, time off tracking, new hire and term tracking, and other HR duties as assigned. Will be responsible for helping to onboard new hires and will have a part in the New Hire Orientation process. Will assist in the performance management process for field employees Answer employee questions surrounding benefits and human policies and practices. Type memos, letters, e-mails, listings, special assignments, etc., as assistant to other departments and may organize/alphabetize filing for other work groups. Place outgoing calls, answer incoming calls, forward calls to the appropriate party, take messages when necessary, notify employees that visitors have arrived. Pass messages on to the party called or their assistant. May take messages for absent or occupied employees. Scheduling meetings for various departments including but not limited to employee meetings, conferences, trainings, interviews, etc. Receive and distribute packages, mail, letters, etc., as required. Sign for parcels when necessary. Send out mail for various members of the company as requested. Will be primarily responsible for general upkeep of the office including ordering and stocking office supplies-including refilling all paper in copiers daily, keeping merchandise/safety items orderly in storage rooms, general cleaning of conference rooms, break room, and other areas visible to gu Assist in organizing and coordinating company meetings and events including but not limited to: ordering catering and supplies for events and sending invitations to invited parties. Filing, scanning, and miscellaneous office/clerical assistance as needed. Work on special projects as assigned. Perform additional duties as assigned or requested.
