About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for an Executive – Income Auditor to join our Finance team at Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

  • Daily audit of all revenue departments in line with established Finance directives and step by steps

  • Daily reconciliation of credit card and ensuring PCI compliance in line with established finance directives and SBS

  • Daily reconciliation of package revenues including half board and breakfast

  • Reconciliation and control of gift certificates

  • Audit of all rebate, void and paid out documentation in line with established finance directives and step by steps

  • Reconciliations of theatre revenues

  • Third party reconciliations including PSAV

  • Ensure compliance with DTCM ticketing regulations and accurate and timely submissions of relevant payments to avoid any fines

  • Ensure that InterCompany accounts are balanced on a monthly basis

  • Perform spot checks in all sections as per relevant step by steps

  • Prepare Food & Beverage tips statement on a monthly basis

  • Count all house banks on spot check basis at least once a month

  • Ensure that the discount policies are followed correctly in F&B

  • Reconcile the daily cash postings against physical deposits and prepare general cashiers summary on a daily basis.

  • Catering to adhoc queries assisting the Finance Manager of the section

About you:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

In order to be considered for this role, you will have a Basic Accounting Qualifications and minimum of two years experience as an Income Auditor, as well as knowledge of Opera,Micros, Sun Finance and high competency level of accurate cash counting and calculations.

You will have good administration, time management and organisational skills, as well as the capability to multitask and strong attention to detail. You will also be able to handle tenant queries promptly, professionally and courteously as well as good knowledge of all areas of duties of the account receivable department.
