As a CPMS Test booth technician you will assist in the preventative maintenance of test harnesses and hydraulic connections and assist in improvements of the Test booths and other in-process test equipment this will be across production all lines

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting basic equipment calibration, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, spares, and sustained production.

  • Following blueprints, guidelines, diagram’s and schematics to ensure testing specifications levels are met.

  • Assisting as part of CPMS team in modifying existing equipment or designing new equipment for continual manufacturing process improvement, as well as quality control and in-process production testing.

The successful candidate must bring (Basic Qualifications):

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to liaise with all levels of the organisation.

  • The ability to work closely with others is imperative, requiring team participation to achieve the agreed objectives.

  • Be self-motivated and have the ability to work on your own initiative.

  • The ability to organise and manage your own workload.

  • CPS Yellow Belt trained.

Top Candidates will bring:

  • British Safety Council Level 2 Risk Assessment trained.

  • Previous experience of electrical and hydraulic systems

  • Ability to read engineering drawing’s

  • Previous experience of 2D and 3D CAD software is advantageous.

  • MHE Licences.

  • Experience with APQP tools; PFMEA & Control plans

Salary: £26,750 rising to £28,100 once fully competent

Contract: Permanent
