Projects will primarily be buildings and structures in the following areas: Buildings for medical, justice, higher education, commercial, and technology facilities. Government projects such as national parks, federal facilities, and military installations. Municipal public works projects, including water / wastewater treatment, storage and distribution. Resources and energy projects, including power, mining, oil and gas, and solid waste facilities. Transportation service facilities and transit structures. Key responsibilities: Lead the structural design of buildings and civil structures for a variety of project types and construction materials and methods. Prepare specifications and production of drawings (in collaboration with BIM designers) for construction documents. Serve projects during construction by site visits, reviewing contractor submittals to ensure they meet design intent, and addressing construction issues. Participate in or lead assessments of existing structures. Actively participate in multi-discipline team meetings, design charettes, client review workshops, and construction meetings. #LI-LA1 Qualifications Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree (ABET accredited) in Civil or Architectural Engineering with emphasis in Structural Engineering. Current PE or SE license. Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering including concrete, steel, and masonry design. Experience with International Building Code and referenced standards. Experience in seismic design and high wind regions. Experience with structural analysis, finite element, and BIM software. A commitment to technical excellence and client service with a desire to advance your career in the field of structural engineering long-term. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong personal organization skills.
