This position serves as the Sr. Administrative Assistant to the Office of the Dean in the College of Arts and Sciences. Individual works under the direction of the Senior Associate Dean. Works regularly with information requiring the utmost discretion and confidentiality. Will be responsible for maintaining calendars, preparing correspondence, greeting individuals, handling mail, and assisting with special projects and events. Works closely with the faculty and staff of the departments to ensure successful completion of projects and assignments for the Senior Associate Deans.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • Minimum three (3) years of experience; five (5) years of progressive related experience preferred. Any relevant education, certifications and/or work experience may be considered.

  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as familiarity with the use of Microsoft Office, Access, and Excel.

  • Must be well organized, able to handle competing priorities simultaneously.

  • Must have excellent people skills and judgment in dealing with complex and challenging situations.

  • Serves as back-up to the Executive Assistant to the Dean. This position reports to the Executive Assistant to the Dean.
