The Robotics Software Engineer will capture and manage software requirements and take a lead role in designing one of the only new humanoid robots in the U.S. and develop life-saving humanoid robotics applications.
Duties & ResponsibilitiesAs a Robotics Software Engineer you will:
Take a lead role in designing one of the only new humanoid robots in the U.S. and develop life-saving humanoid robotics applications.
Capture and manage software requirements.
Design and develop software.
Perform integration and testing of software with robotic.
Support high-profile demonstration of humanoid robots.
Participate as software Subject Matter Expert in project meetings.
Perform other duties as required.
BS degree in engineering from an accredited engineering school.
Experience with ROS (Robot Operating System).
Experience with Linux development environments.
Strong C++ programming skills and experience.
Experience with coding in Python.
Experience with code version control.
Path Planning, Perception, LIDAR, Stereo, humanoid, DRC, legged, vision, grasping, machine learning, ML, TensorFlow,PCL, SLAM, VR, AR.
Experience with the Git version control system.
Project experience with legged robots.
Project experience with autonomous robots.
Project experience delivering a commercial robot.
Project experience calculating joint torque requirements.
