Robert Half is supporting a healthcare client with an immediate need for a skilled Medical Biller. We are offering a role in the medical billing/claims located west of downtown Cincinnati. After a period of onsite training, an option to work hybrid or fully remote may be offered.

Responsibilities:

• Accurate completion of medical claims and submittals using an EHR System such as EPIC or eClinicalWorks.

• Understanding of EOB - Explanation of Benefits, Claim Denials, and Denial Codes

• Handling of appeals in cases of denied claims

• Ensuring adherence to medical billing/claims/collections industry standards and regulations

• Regularly updating skills and knowledge in the field of medical billing/claims/collections.

Requirements • Demonstrable experience in Medical Billing/Claims/Collections

• Proficient in working with EHR SYSTEM

• Experience in handling Appeals in a medical setting

• Familiarity with Claim Administration

• Proven expertise in Medical Billing procedures

• Understanding of EOB - Explanation of Benefits

• Ability to manage Claim Denials effectively

• Knowledge of Denial Codes

• Experience in processing Medical Claims

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Detail-oriented with high level of accuracy

• Ability to adhere to strict deadlines and work under pressure

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions independently.
