Job Description

A top Engineering Consultant is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their mechanical systems group and support the design work for multiple clients. The main responsibilities of this engineer is to take conceptual design layouts to detailed designs. Responsibilities will include preparing duct work, layouts, model reviews and air flow diagrams into 3D models. This individual will utilize Plant 3D, Autodesk Inventor OR SolidWorks. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of mechanical design experience in an industrial environment.

Skills and Requirements

* 5+ years of experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer (industrial background)

* 5+ years of experience designing in Plant 3D

* 5+ years of experience designing in Autodesk Inventor AND/ OR SolidWorks

* General understanding of SMACNA (duck work specification manual) * Revit experience

* EPC Background (Engineering, Procurement, Construction .. ie: Jacobs Engineering, BSI Engineering etc)

* Navisworks Software Experience null
