Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Work with team of test engineers, lab staff to plan and execute engine testing plans

  • Translate technical requirements into detailed plans, along with instrumentation requirements

  • Author test instructions and work orders to advance test cell plans

  • Assist in troubleshooting data quality issues

  • Manage multiple test cells and projects

  • Liaison with external test agencies for successful execution of the certification and conformity of Production tests

  • Optimize requirements, hardware limits, emissions regulations to deliver product that deliver superior customer value

  • Ensure standard process and standard work is employed to deliver projects on time while meeting cost and quality • Prepare and deliver technical project summaries and final results

  • Be ready to adapt and deal with uncertainly with increasing project complexity and customer demand

  • Drive innovation, continually learn and stay abreast of innovative technology

  • Be willing to travel aligned to business requirements

  • Adopt flexible approach to ensure enough overlap of working hours with teams in US, UK and China as needed.

  • Accredited Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile, Thermal or similar• Overall experience of 3 to 7 years in Diesel engine developmentDESIRED SKILLSET:• Engine and Aftertreatment calibration experience• Engine validation experience• Field issue resolution and failure analysis of engine performance and emissions• Gas / Dual Fuel / Mechanical engine development experience is desirable• Prior experience with Vector CANApe, Dynasty & tools (ET, DATK) will be anadded advantage• Strong communication and interpersonal skills• Good project management and planning skills
