Required Qualifications:

• Mechanical Engineering diploma or degree with 5-6 Years of experience in Engine product Design and Development.

• Should be Data science background of Engine component and Aftertreatment components and functional knowledge (Emission, Emission core control, Exhaust parts)

• Proficiency with data analysis and management tools such as Matlab and Microsoft Excel

• Basic computer language fluency, ability to code macros and simple programs to automate data management.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Functional Roles,

• Investigate existing parts on the engine instead of replacing with new parts to BOM to reduce the cost

• Compare original, as-built consist to upgrade parts list to identify part number duplicates that do not need to be included in the upgrade parts list.

• To review 3D models, engineering drawings, and engineering notices to identify form, fit and function incompatibilities that would prevent duplicate parts.
