A Maintenance Manager at Maple Leaf Community Residences plays a vital role in maintaining homes and delivering exceptional customer service. This consistent year-round position is responsible for completing service requests, proactively identifying service needs, and supporting operational functions.
Responsibilities
- Survey buildings and mechanical systems to ensure health and safety standards
- Complete service requests from multiple sources, including phone, email and custom applications
- Provide basic troubleshooting for service requests to resolve issues promptly
- Conduct preventative maintenance tasks
- Comply with established safety guidelines and procedures
- Collaborate as needed for internal and third-party inspections to maintain housing quality standards
- Efficiently manage the use of company inventory and supplies
- Perform on call (after hours) duties
Skills
- Proven experience in residential maintenance and repairs
- Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems
- Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
- Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills
- Customer service-oriented with attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Good physical condition and strength
High school diploma or equivalent; clean background check, and clean driving record.
