ManpowerGroup Purchasing Supervisor in Chandler, Arizona

Our client, a global provider of survivability and security solutions is seeking a Purchasing Supervisor to join their team. As a Purchasing Supervisor, you will be part of the Procurement Team supporting manufacturing objectives and the Dir. of Purchasing. The ideal candidate will have BA or BS (business or engineering), 10 previous years of procurement experience and knowledge of FAR, DFAR, CPSR flow down requirements which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Purchasing Supervisor

Location: Chandler, AZ

Pay Range: $85K - $100K D.O.E.

What’s the Job?

  • Train, mentor, and manage tactical team of commodity buyers.

  • Drive supplier on-time delivery through strong communication with buyers and vendors.

  • Reduce scrap and re-work costs through improvement of supplier quality.

  • Problem solve issues that arise around material receipt, cost variance, and part demand.

  • Maintain professional, productive and disciplined work environment.

What’s Needed?

  • BA or BS in Business or Engineering

  • 10+ years of previous procurement experience in manufacturing environment. (metals, raw materials, ballistic materials)

  • Knowledge of FAR, DFAR, CPSR flow down requirements.

  • MS Office, MRP/ERP, Six Sigma and lean manufacturing exp.

  • Extremely detail and results oriented.
