Position Summary

Create, analyze and develop a visual response to communication requirements for both print and online publishing needs of the organization. Should respect existing corporate identity guidelines and style guides and also improve the same. Works under limited supervision.

Duties & Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL

  • Research, gather and study relevant project information. Understand deliverable requirements

  • Take ownership of graphic design projects from start to completion

  • Create storyboards that depict the script and narrative

  • Create project documentation including the design templates, standards, style guides, technical specifications, straw models, and pilot materials

  • Understand and follow branding guidelines and templates

  • Function as a creative self-starter and work independently

  • Create layout and templates for various posters, flyers, brochures, magazines, newsletters

  • Create offline & online visual design, including typography, visual concept, logo and icon design for the Internet and design collaterals

  • Create sketches, artworks or illustrations as required

  • Create high-quality animations with good understanding of animation principles

  • Create graphics, 2d animations, and videos for training and marketing

  • Create concept art for non-technical graphics requirements

  • Communicate and collaborate with other animators, designers, and graphic artists.

  • Attend all team meetings and deliver assigned projects/task on time

  • Create library elements for frequently used assets

  • Organize and re-use elements from library

  • Participate in regular teleconference meetings with colleagues at different geographic locations

  • Receive and implement feedbacks in the right spirit

  • Learn new software, standards, and tools quickly

  • Demonstrate high level of initiative to accomplish individual goals, aligned with department and organizational objectives

NON-ESSENTIAL

  • Perform additional administrative /technical jobs as assigned

  • Be open to travel as per business needs

  • Contribute to improving existing processes

Carry out work in accordance with the Company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Systems.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent level of competence in fine arts/Multimedia Discipline

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant production experience

  • Intermediate level user of Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign

  • Good working knowledge of Adobe Animate and After Effects

  • Good Knowledge of Graphic design and UI design principles, typography, color theory and printing technology

  • Good knowledge of principles of animation

DESIRED

  • Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

  • Intermediate freehand drawing skills

  • Basic knowledge of Audio and Video editing

  • Basic knowledge of Responsive Website design and Parallax website design

Additional Information

Working Conditions

This position is considered OFFICE WORK which is characterized as follows

  • Almost exclusively indoors during the day and occasionally at night

  • Occasional exposure to airborne dust in the workplace

  • Work surface is stable (flat)
