Job Description

AECOM is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Digital Content Manager, reporting into our Data/Information Management team in Bucharest. In this role, you will be responsible for the site building, content management, administration, coordination, and user management of projects leveraging our low-code Plan Engage software platform. This position offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of stakeholder engagement, technology, design, and content management to enhance the user experience and maximize the platform's functionality.

This position will offer flexibility for a hybrid work schedule, combination of office and remote work schedule and will be based in our Bucharest, Romania office.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

Content Management: Oversee the regular creation, organization, and publication of content on each website, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and alignment with company and client objectives. Site Design & Development: Lead the design, configuration, and development efforts to enhance the visual appeal, usability, and functionality of each tailored Plan Engage website. Platform & User Management: Manage user accounts, profiles, and preferences to provide a personalized experience for each user while ensuring data security and integrity for multiple sites simultaneously. Collaboration: Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely execution of platform-related projects. Documentation: Maintain documentation of platform configurations, processes, and best practices to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure consistency. Training & Support: Provide training and support to users, including onboarding new users and responding to support requests.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Web Design, or a related field, and two years of work experience or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

  • Proven experience administering, designing, and managing web-based software platforms, particularly in building low-code web applications.

  • Keen eye for design, familiarity with UX/UI principles, usability testing methodologies, and accessibility standards.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, across multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality, error-free work.

  • Analytical mindset, with the ability to gather and analyze data to drive informed decision-making and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience working in an urban planning context and/or AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industry.

  • Experience training end-users and/or providing technical support through a variety of digital channels.
