Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Medical Billing Specialist in Brunswick, Maine. The role is integral to our team, focusing on managing Mainecare Private Non-Medical Institutional Services (PNMI) billing and cost reporting. The position involves the use of EHR SYSTEM, Microsoft Excel, and NetSuite to perform various duties, including accounts receivable, appeals, billing functions, claim administration, collection processes, and Medicaid billing.

Responsibilities:

• Handle Mainecare Private Non-Medical Institutional Services (PNMI) billing and cost reporting effectively.

• Utilize your experience in accounting and reporting methods within Medicaid (Mainecare) for optimal results.

• Employ your advanced Excel skills to manage and analyze data effectively.

• Leverage your expertise with NetSuite for efficient task completion.

• Process and manage accounts receivable (AR) in a timely and accurate manner.

• Handle claim administration, ensuring all claims are processed and resolved effectively.

• Oversee billing functions, ensuring all billings are accurate and sent out on time.

• Manage appeals, ensuring all appeals are handled professionally and in a timely manner.

• Implement effective collection processes for delinquent payments.

• Utilize your medical billing skills to ensure all medical billing processes are carried out accurately and efficiently. Requirements • Proficiency in EHR SYSTEM

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Ability to handle Appeals process

• Familiarity with Billing Functions

• Experience in Claim Administration
