Summary:

We are looking for junior Developer to join SAP UX Engineering. As a team we are responsible for the frameworks and tools at the cores of the UX strategy for SAPs flagship product, S/4HANA. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and using UI frameworks such as SAP Fiori Elements. In this role you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the framework using SAPUI5, OData, and other related technologies as well as the maintenance of the development infrastructure.

We are currently fundamentally changing the user experience in the enterprise software field by embedding artificial intelligence capabilities into our frameworks, thus a candidate should also have experience with AI and ML topics and be interested to integrate these technologies into the UI to streamline business processes.

The Role:

• Design, develop, and maintain the frameworks and tools used by SAP to deliver the SAP S/4HANA user experience (SAP Fiori Elements, SAPUI5, OData, and other related technologies).

• Work closely with the UX/UI design team to ensure that the framework is user-friendly and meets the needs of the business.

• Collaborate with other developers and architects to ensure that the framework is scalable and maintainable.

• Participate in code reviews to ensure that the code is of high quality and meets our coding standards.

• Troubleshoot issues with the framework and provide solutions in a timely manner to customers.

• Integrate AI and ML technologies into the UI to streamline business processes.

Role Requirement:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field.

• Experience in developing and using UI framework like SAP Fiori Elements, React, etc.

• Experience in developing SAPUI5 applications using OData services.

• Experience with AI and ML topics.

• Understand DevOps practices and be interested in setting up and maintaining development infrastructure.

• Share responsibility for creating a quality product, along with the Product Owner, and colleagues of the global product development team.

• Demonstrate adaptability and be able to adapt to new technologies, topics, and programming languages.

• Analyze problems and come up with creative solutions, considering the existing framework, available technology stacks, design proposals, and existing constraints.

• Manage your time effectively and prioritize tasks from multiple queues

• Work well in a team environment that spans time zones and locations around the world

• Always keep the customer and their needs front and center

Relevant Technologies:

• SAPUI5 : A JavaScript library for building enterprise-ready web applications.

• OData : A RESTful protocol for querying and updating data.

• SAP Fiori Elements : A framework for building consistent and responsive user interfaces for SAP software.

• AI/ML : Experience with integrating artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies into web applications.

• TypeScript: A typed superset of JavaScript that compiles to plain JavaScript. It is the preferred way to develop SAPUI5 applications, OData services using SAP CAP and SAP Fiori Elements applications
