POSITION PURPOSE:

The Day Porter Lead role in the company is responsible for daily, on site, janitorial tasks at a defined customer facility or office.

SHIFT DETAILS:

Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm

MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

Include the following key areas and duties, which may be modified or increased as necessary:

• Coordinates activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and directing the work of subordinate employees.

• Evaluates and verifies employee performance through the review of completed work assignments and techniques • Identifies staff development and training needs and ensures that training is obtained.

• Ensures proper labor relations and conditions of employment are maintained.

• Maintains records, prepares reports, and composes correspondence relative to the work.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must become familiar with cleaning chemical components and safety requirements.

• Able to maintain confidentiality.

• Good communication skills

• Strong interpersonal customer service skills

• Being flexible and able to handle corrective criticism.

• Being patient and detail orientated.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Previous data center, warehouse cleaning preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Required to spend on-the-job time on the following physical activities:

• Stand- long periods. • Walk- long distance.

• Lift/Climb- ability to move equipment.

• Talk/Hear- earplugs required.

• High Reaching

• The Weight or Force requirement in this position is: Up to 50 pounds.

VISION REQUIREMENT:

• This position requires you to have close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less), and color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors).

• Depth perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships)

• Ability to adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus)
