Responsible to optimize scheduling automation, real-time manufacturing decision-support reporting and analysis, and line management analytics (output, cycle time, or cost). Complete all required safety training and conducts all work in accordance with Micron and Technology Development (TD) safety policies. Follow all safety and environmental procedures to ensure compliance with applicable regulations. Report all safety-related concerns or problems immediately to the appropriate individual (Emergency Response Team, Supervision, etc.). Perform audits and submits good catches on safety issues Communication/Collaboration. Partner with management to provide data analysis, advanced production web-reports, and develop applications to improve production metrics. Understand and properly utilizes area technical language. Create and deliver effective presentations. Lead interdepartmental meetings for simple to complex issues and projects. Mentors others and clearly articulates complex ideas and issues to a broad audience. Establish trusting relationships across local and global partner groups. Participate in or leads global alignment meetings. Drive improvement solutions that meet the needs of our customers. Develops a thorough understanding of how process changes in one activity affect the function of other groups. Partner with Operations Development Engineering (ODE) teams to address OI cases. Leverages and shares global OI best known methods (BKM’s). Supports 24/7 OI systems when on call Project Management/Planning. Designs and coordinates projects with several different departments. Identifies, innovates, designs and leads improvement efforts or special projects related to cycle time reduction, continues improvement projects, world-wide projects. Identifies project requirements and can plan tasks to meet needed dates. Understands Automated Material Handling System (AMHS) layout including being able to analyze congestion and slow delivery times. Provides metrics and reporting that drive improving AMHS operation efficiency and delivery times. Optimizes tool-to-tool delivery times and provides on-time delivery. Delivers pre/post metrics for OI enhancements/changes. Follows the OI testing cycle (DEV/BETA/PROD) for new software releases to ensure quality implementation Technical/Data. Applies industrial engineering concepts to line management, scheduling and production planning. Creates and uses analytical tools/data, data pipelines/ETL, visualizations, and applications to drive decisions. Identifies optimization opportunities for the fab and implements innovative solutions. Automates Fab processes to reduce variability and eliminate waste. Develops, maintains, and improves scheduling and business rules.

Employer will accept Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
