Google Strategic Partnerships Development Manager, Real World Journeys in Bengaluru, India

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 8 years of experience in partnerships management or business development.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Ability to interpret legal documents, discuss agreements, and work with attorneys to complete agreements.

  • Ability to operate with flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving and collaborative environment, and work cross-functionally with all levels of management, both internally and externally.

  • Ability to communicate in Hindi fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.

As a Strategic Partnerships Development Manager in Real World Journeys, you will build and maintain strategic relationships with many of our partners in India. You will manage existing partnerships, launch new relationships, as well as drive new business opportunities, resolve business issues, and analyze and track key metrics to identify trends.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

  • Maintain direct relationships with key partners in India. Drive new partnerships, create new business opportunities with existing partners.

  • Discuss program feature enhancements with executive-level executives. Ensure prompt and proper resolution of business issues raised by partners.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to structure and execute business initiatives, develop work plans, lead analysis, and develop and communicate final recommendations. Be a key contributor to research that supports product strategy definition in the region.

  • Analyze and track key metrics to identify trends and highlight issues. Maintain a relationship with internal stakeholders such as Engineering, Finance, gTech, Legal, Product, and Sales.

  • Maintain an understanding of Google's Real World Journey products and product roadmap. Support the product development and partnership efforts in India.
