Roles & Responsibilities
Non-conformity management
Performing daily non-conformity management, ensuring responsiveness to inform the supplier of non-conformities, replace defective parts and implement safety measures
Initiation of measures & creation of action plans, in coordination with internal departments and with suppliers, leading to the resolution and finally to the closure of the nonconformity.
Management of the special releases issued by the suppliers
Organization of retrofits to be carried out by the supplier
Solving problems and managing continuous improvement
Request action plans from suppliers to secure the production line
Enforce corrective and preventive action plans
Verify the effectiveness of the supplier's corrective and preventive action plan, request evidence and conduct supplier visits. Ensure the sustainability of the control plan (regular follow-up of key suppliers).
Establish and manage a supplier improvement roadmap for non-performing suppliers according to the supplier quality assessment escalation process
Organize supplier meetings and site visits when necessary.
Inspection of low-critical parts
Ensure the performance of the inspection for low-critical parts
Verify the effectiveness of the supplier's corrective and preventive action plan (request evidence, challenge and conduct supplier visits through supplier visits). Ensure sustainability of the control plan (regular "follow-up" meetings of key suppliers).
Top issues dashboard:
Prepare and monitor supplier quality review at unit level to address key issues.
Performance Measurements:
Conduct inspections within assigned target lead time and ensure key inspections are completed on time
Accuracy and correct defect characterization for deviations and related ERP tasks (blocked stock, commissioning, etc.)
Ensure the establishment and implementation of continuous performance improvement measures by regularly analyzing the downward trend of the amount of NCRs detected after receiving inspection during the production cycle
Required Skills
Completed university degree in quality technology or engineering or equivalent
Knowledge of supplier qualification standards (ISO, ASME, IRIS, local standards etc.)
Fluency in written and spoken German and English
Willingness to travel on business.
Good technical understanding
High assertiveness
Negotiating skills
SAP
Experience in dealing with supplier relationships is an advantage
