Baton Rouge Community College (BRCC) seeks to fill the position of Adjunct Faculty - Pre-Engineering is located in the Division of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. This is a part-time position, and is open for recruitment.

COMPENSATION:

Salary: $833.33 per credit hour course taught

Estimated Hours per Week: 3

Dates/Times - Day, night and weekend classes; various times available

• Master's degree in Engineering or related field, or master's degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Engineering or related field.

Job Concepts

Part-time Adjunct Faculty members are responsible for teaching courses as assigned and promotion of a collegial atmosphere. Adjunct Faculty are expected to support the institution's mission and vision and abide by the Faculty Handbook and college-wide policies. Adjunct Faculty report directly to the department chair within their respective departments and divisions.

The Department of Computer Science and Pre-Engineering seeks adjunct instructors to teach Engineering courses. Adjunct instructors are hired by the department, the Division of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics, and Baton Rouge Community College on a term-by-term basis as needed.
