Job Overview:

Responsible for financial and technical success of a small to medium size project, or part of a large project [on schedule & within budget). Responsible for ensuring the project is administered and executed to the satisfaction of the Client in accordance to the highest ethical and safety standards and compliant to our company policies and procedures.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Complete responsibility for management of all phases of small to medium size projects or parts of a larger project.

  • Responsible for financial and technical success of the project or part of a larger project

  • Organize the Project Team and fortifies all required positions with appropriate and competent persons to undertake project management functions of the project

  • Manage project to meet cost, schedule, safety, quality and contractual requirements to the satisfaction of the internal and external customers.

  • Review and approve project expenditures, cost, estimates, budgets, financial forecasts and project schedules.

  • Uses discipline and project management expertise to identify and solve a range of project problems/issues within functional groups.

  • Manage, plan, organize, coordinate and control small projects or a part of a larger project in accordance with established policy procedures systems and requirements.

  • Manage relationships with internal customers. Act as focal point with Client (depending on size of project).

  • Negotiate with internal and external customer to achieve project goals especially changes to project work scope, contract price and schedule.

  • Liaise and coordinate with Project Construction Managers, Project Engineering Manager, Project Procurement Manager, Project HSE Advisor, Project Quality Manager,

  • Project Controls Manager, Discipline Managers, Sub­ contractors, Production Engineers, Operations Engineers and Hook-up Managers.

  • Identify, track and manage all changes in Scope of Work, schedule and execution methodology on the project, and that all changes to be captured through Desk Top Change Management System (DTMS).

  • Plan, direct and lead the engineering, procurement and construction efforts and formulate the most cost effective plan to timely completion within budget and to manage the execution of that plan in accordance with Company I Area guidelines, Project Management Level 2 procedures.

  • Responsible for the development, approval and implementation of Project Execution Plan [PEP], Project Set-Up and Project Close-out.

  • Responsible for management of Bid Proposals in conjunction with Company Proposals group, Estimating, Legal and Business Development depts. Leads bid technical and commercial clarifications meeting and negotiations with client o bring about successful award of project.

  • Ensure that lessons learned are implemented by the Project Management Team and lessons learned on the project are documented in the data base.

  • Foster an environment of building team morale and build consensus with the project team

  • Adhere to Company Safety Standards.

  • High standard of safe working practice, quality and productivity as well as compliance with the code of business conducts

Essential Qualifications and Education:

  • Possess Undergraduate degree

  • Posses’ relevant experience
