Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design and draft out electrical deliverables ( Single line diagram, junction box drawings, wiring and schematic diagrams, specification sheets, layout plans, Cable routing, bill of materials, etc.)

• Resolve construction feedback issues relating to issued deliverables.

• Experience in LV & MV Electrical Engineering Tasks, Detail Design projects.

• Experience in Design calculations for Transformer, Generator, ATS, Softstarter, VFD,. etc

• Detail design of secondary control and protection systems.

• Experience with Hazardous Area classification and preparation of layouts.

• Coordinate inter discipline engineers to develop detailed interconnection construction drawings.

• Technical Review and comment on design deliverables provided by internal designers.

Required Skills (Technical Competency):

• Familiarity with Electrical system design for Oil and Gas industry

• Coordinate with Process, Piping/Mechanical, Civil & Instrumentation designer for Electrical interface

• Review vendor drawings and other documents and integrate into design

• Design experience in a drafting environment developing Electrical equipment Datasheet, wiring diagrams and Electrical layouts.

• Working Knowledge of codes and standards NEC, IEC, IEEE, UL, AS

• AutoCAD & Autodesk Vault, MS Office, SKM/ETAP tool(Added Advantage)

Desired Skills:

• Bachelor's in electrical engineering from reputable educational institute

• Familiarity with Upstream/Midstream/Downstream design/engineering processes
