Job Summary:

As a Senior Electrical Engineer at Quest Global, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of electrical control panels for industrial projects. You will be responsible for creating detailed electrical schematics, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams while ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. Your expertise will contribute to the successful execution of our projects and the continued growth of our company.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with engineering teams to understand project requirements and specifications.

• Create detailed electrical schematics, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams using AutoCAD Electrical

• Select appropriate components, including switchgears, relays, contactors, and power supply modules, to meet project needs.

• Perform cable sizing calculations and earthing calculations to ensure safe and efficient electrical systems.

• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and codes (e.g., NEC, IEC, UL) in all designs.

• Participate in design reviews to ensure the accuracy and quality of electrical designs.

• Generate bills of materials (BOMs) and coordinate with procurement teams for component sourcing.

• Collaborate with the production team to support the manufacturing and assembly of control panels.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior designers, as needed.

• Keep up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in electrical panel design.

Required Skills (Technical Competency):

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

• [2+ years] of proven experience in electrical panel design, preferably in water treatment industry.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical or similar electrical design software.

• Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices.

• Familiarity with industry-specific standards and codes (e.g. UL, NEC, IEC).

• Experience in component selection, cable sizing, and earthing calculations.
