Roles & Responsibilities:

Vessel Design Expert on any one product profile (Reciprocating Compressor, Steam Turbine & Centrifugal Compressor) - Designer will be responsible for preparing Construction Drawings, Data Sheets, outline Drawings, Layout Drawings and General arrangements for Vessels. He/ She will have the opportunity to introduce new technology to enhance company profitability and productivity. He/ She will be responsible for maintaining and incorporating new cost-effective solutions for designs. He/ She should be expert and responsible for designing of all/ some of the following;

• Construction Drawing of Gas Accumulation Tank Drawing, Gas Heater, volume Bottle, Suction and Discharge volume Bottle Drawings

• General arrangement for condensate Pumps Skid and vacuum System Skid

• Data Sheet for gland condenser heat exchanger, shell & tube lube oil cooler data sheet etc.

• Layout Drawing of condenser outline drawings and shell/tube outline drawings

• Perform Technical Reviews. Review process- 30%-60%-90%. Handhold, guide & mentor the team to improve technical competency of the team

• Drive Knowledge Management, Continuous improvement & Productivity improvement initiatives.

Competency/ Technical Skills:

• 8-12 years of Experience in Steam Turbine/Centrifugal Compressor/Reciprocating Compressor – Designing in oil and gas/petrochemical/power sector.

• Should be able to check of General Arrangement received by Manufacturing/sourcing

• Tools skill: Siemens NX, AutoCAD & Team Center

• Should be able to prepare Project Scheduling, monitoring, and control, and maintain OTD and Quality of the Engineering documents, timely execution.

Desired skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

• Experience in an engineering position for Vessels - Mechanical for Turbomachinery’s disciplines in oil and gas/power sector.
