Join a team of specialists that provide program analysis, process improvement, and metrics for Honeywell. You will partner with Integrated program team to develop program plans and create cost and schedule baselines. You will analyze variances and review compliance to command media across multiple teams. This role also requests mentoring and leadership skills for development of team members.

The Senior Program Control Lead will standardize program analytics, tools, and reports for a portfolio of programs, while proactively identifying systemic issues and addressing root cause. The Lead will drive favorable business & metric performance & enable leadership to make key strategic decision based on their guidance.

You will develop employees and manage performance. You will build, manage, and inspire a world class Project Analyst team to deliver innovative products and services to Honeywell customers worldwide.

You will influence and collaborate with internal stakeholders to accept new concepts, practices, and approaches as a business partner.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead and Drive a team of PCO's analyzing and monitoring the largest, most complex, multi site projects/programs

• Lead and Drive development project control plan, execution strategy, WBS, cost budget and schedule baselines to measure project performance/success through KPI's.

• Demonstrates expert level in data analytics using Project Management processes

• Analyze cost and schedule variance versus baseline. Identify root cause and recommend corrective actions

• Support/Drive Project Forecasting, Project Reviews, Monthly Progress Reporting to Internal/External Customers

• Demonstrate expert level in Earned Value Management, Scheduling &/or Agile practices, S Curves

• Assist with Change, Risk and Lead EAC Management on assigned projects/programs

• Ensure effective communication and partner with the Project Team (internal/external) and build relationships

• Support vetting of program management tools, defining earned value & schedule requirements & definitions. Support implementation & user testing as required

• Lead, monitor and Report Compliance as per command media requirements including preparation for associated audits & drive root cause corrective as required.

• Lead or support internal improvement processes or special assigned initiatives

• Coach, mentor, and train Project Analysts with less Experience to improve their skills and capabilities. Provide cross functional knowledge sharing

• 20% or more travel to project sites

You must have:

• 10+ years’ experience in Project Controls. Working knowledge with project management processes (i.e, cost, EVM (Earned Value Management), schedule, baseline development, assigning time phased resources and budgets to work scope, performance measurements, etc.)

• 5+ years in a construction environment managing or providing cost control and scheduling for construction projects

• Strong Communication and Interpersonal skills

• Demonstrate Leadership, Negotiation, and Organizational skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)

• Experience in developing and facilitating training

• Experience in mentoring

We Value:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Math, Science, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Economics or related fields or Master’s Degree

• Expert level knowledge cost, EVM (Earned Value Management), baseline development, assigning time phased resources and budgets to work scope, performance measurements, etc.

• Expert level knowledge of Project Scheduling & user experience with Scheduling tools (Microsoft Project, SSI, Cora, Primavera P6)

• Experience with external customer interfacing

• Ability to influence at varying levels across the organization

• Ability to convey subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience

• User experience of ERP system (SAP, Oracle, Microsiga)

• Ability to work in a large and diverse team in a matrix work environment.

• Expert level experience in financial data compilation, analysis, and metrics management

• Project Management, Project Schedule Professional (PMI-SP), or Cost Engineering Certification

• Strong Experience with Cost Control, Scheduling (Waterfall/Agile/Lean/Scrum), Time Management, and Contract Management

• Six Sigma Green Belt

• Able to be flexible and think outside the box

• Leadership Skills
