Engineering Technician - Test Engineering

Job Summary
Assist in the development and generation of test solutions and procedures
Partner with the test engineering team to place orders for parts to support test fixtures
Assist with collecting validation and verification results
Responsible for maintenance of test engineering fixtures and system
Adhere to General Requirements of Team Members
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as design and manufacturing, to ensure proper test coverage and to resolve any issues that arise during testing
Participate in the continuous improvement of test processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
Perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills and Qualifications
Familiarity with electronic components and troubleshooting to the component level
Ability to read and interpret technical documents, such as schematics, diagrams, and test procedures
Ability to write and speak effectively with employees at all levels in the organization
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving ability
People skills - customer oriented, positive attitude, team participation, problem solve
Detail oriented with attention to accuracy
Computer skills; thorough working knowledge of email, Microsoft Excel, and Word

Required Experience and Education
Associate’s degree in electronic or mechanical technology required
2-4 years’ experience test technician or manufacturing support preferred
