We are seeking a Cardiac Services Holter Technician for our team to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. Did you get into our industry for these reasons? Job Summary and Qualifications

• Carefully checks each test requisition for validity, duplication, medical record number and proper charges.

• Proficient with performing patient testing.

• Maintains test equipment with proper cleaning and supplies.

• Strives to understand the patient needs and responds accordingly.

• Records all EKG requests and procedures in a work logbook; with accurate attention to the test, date, time , patient and other pertinent information.

• Files records accurately.

• Verifies accuracy of computer charges.

• Responds to changes in schedule as necessary; continually plans time well; responds to stat orders and codes immediately.

• Explains to the patient the procedure about to be performed and the purpose of the test; consistently relaxes the patient before the test to ensure proper results; never submits and inappropriate tracing.

What qualifications you will need:

• High School Graduate / GED

• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or CPR for Healthcare Providers must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
