Bohannan Huston is currently seeking qualified applicants for a full-time Professional Land Surveyor to work in our Albuquerque, NM office.

As a Professional Land Surveyor with Bohannan Huston, you would get to use and stretch your professional and personal skills. We work on interesting projects, of all sizes, and all over the Southwest. We use state-of-the-art surveying equipment and technologies, and our survey team is seasoned, experienced, and committed to quality and professionalism. Expertise Required:

• Must hold a current Professional Surveyor license in the state of New Mexico or be able to sit for the NMPS exam within six months of hire date.
• 4-Year Degree in Surveying Engineering, Geomatics Engineering, Geomatics or related field from an accredited institution.
• 2 to 5+ years of demonstrated surveying experience.
• Advanced Geodetic and Boundary surveying skills.
• Experience with GPS and Total Station surveying tools preferred.
• Experience with aerial or mobile LiDAR platforms and software preferred.
• Strong technical skills, including experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS platforms, database environments.
• Ability to work independently, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Key Duties and Responsibilities Include:

• Project scoping and estimating
• Boundary Surveys -- Right-of-Way, Boundary, ALTAs
• Advanced Geodetic Surveys
• Engineering Surveys topographic mapping and location surveys
• GIS surveys
• Manage field crews
• Manage projects and budgets
• Travel up to 10% may be required
