responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including microscopes, spectrometers, and furnaces

• Analyze test data to identify material properties and characteristics

• Participate in the calibration and preventative maintenance of laboratory equipment

• Identify problems with analytical equipment

requirements:

• BS Engineering desired, equivalent experience to be considered

• Experience with analytical or calibration-related equipment

• Lab experience with analytical equipment desired

• Understanding of metallurgical chemistry a plus

• strong communication skills required
